Happened to me with my Xerox monitor some time ago. I wrote to PC Works
about it at the time, thinking that my monitor is dying. I still think it is
dying, but the that shadow to the right comes and goes. Right now it's OK.

As a general rule, I would say that any computer-related problem doesn't get
better, and it does get worse over time. I have a reserve monitor sitting
here. I'll pop it in when this one explodes.

I don't think there's a reason to replace it yet. Wait until the problem
becomes unbearable.

I have an Acer 22 inch monitor that might be 2 years old. There is a
shadow to the right of everything that appears on the screen.

Have had this for at least a month.

Should I be looking for a new monitor? Will this be gradually getting
worse?
