That new version of AdAware is a joke. It won't even find MRU's and Cookies, and it too takes about "3 days" to scan my HD. > Just wish it would keep coming up with the MS > files all the time. If you mean it's tagging benign M$ products, just add those to the ignore list. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://www.OrpheusComputing.com http://www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "LarryB" Thanks Eric I found that interesting reading. Just goes to show you that all things are not as they appear. Spybot personally I like. Just wish it would keep coming up with the MS files all the time. Like AV software, just one isn't going to find EVERYTHING there is to find. I just a bunch of different ones and there is always one of them that will find something all the other will miss, and that "one" will change every time. I haven't come across any sites that offer real-time testing, I guess you could put them all on a PC and then go to all sorts of bad websites to get infections, run them all and see how they work. But you'd have to do that dozens of times at dozens of different bad sites to get all kinds of different malware. Personally I've never been too high on SpySweeper. Not free, takes forever to run, and hasn't found anything that SpyBot or AdAware never found. -Clint ----- Original Message ----- From: "LarryB" I have been using Ad-aware and had an opportunity to try Spy Sweeper. I would like your opinion of Spy Sweeper. Also how can one test these products?
