Very sorry for the delay, Cristy. Busy, busy, busy... hope you understand!
:o)
Anyways... all of their cheaper priced systems are good deals. No need to spend
too much unless you want something really good for gaming.

Look at the WEEKLY SPECIAL A system. Starts at $574.

You can get it AS IS, or you can make some modifications, as I have listed
below.

The case is completely customizable, so you can click on each one and see which
one you like best. If you change the case, they'll either add or deduct a few
dollars.

The system AS IS comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300. That is a fine
processor for your needs. Its the one of the cheaper of the dual-core CPUs.
But, its a good chip. But, if you wanted to go a little higher, and you really
wanted the best value for the money, I would seriously consider upgrading the
processor to the E6600, which will tack on an additional $139... well worth the
money.

The only other consideration would be to add a floppy drive. Is it necessary?
No. But, I have found that sometimes when you just can't get into the system
under the OS, the floppy is the last saving grace us techs will successfully
use. Most other companies will charge you much more to add the floppy,
including Dell (and I have no idea why they do that). IBuyPower just charges
you a well investment of a mere $6. A nice insurance policy to accessing your
system in times of trouble.

The video card is fine, unless you plan on playing high-end, graphic-intensive
games. If you do, let me know and I'll give you a suggestion on that as well.

With the changes above (E6600 CPU and floppy drive), this system will run you
$719. Leave the default setting (also good) and its $574. Can't beat that.

Do note, however, this does not include a monitor.
