I didn't see any comments about backweb on this link Bill... it was listed, but no comments. cristy - logitech does bundle in backweb with it's drivers... http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/B/Backweb.asp this link asks why it would be necessary to include an application that checks the web continuously for driver updates for a mouse... if it were my machine, I would install my mouse drivers and get rid of backweb... I sincerely doubt that a driver will stop working without the desktop manager functioning. ~s ----- From: "Bill Thurston" > > go to this web site http://www.azpchelp.com/StartupListA-F.htm it will tell > you if you need a program or not - - - hope that helps - - Bill > > -----> From: On Behalf Of > Hotredlips779928@xxxxxxx > > I ran adaware, saw nothing, i ran regiclean and under software is listed > backWeb client..is it safe just to delte it? how do I know if I need it for > something else? > > cristy > > i am getting alot of aggravating pop ups To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
