Hi Vic,

Please forgive me for being overly cautious but I really don't want to
create more problems by doing something incorrect. Your directions were
clear...almost.

1. Move the file msvcp60.dll to your WINDOWS folder. I assume that would
be the new one that I put into it's own folder in my download folder? Do
you mean Right click on the file---cut---go to Windows (where?) and paste?
After which continue to follow your directions?

Sorry, but I need a road map when it comes to something on the computer that
I've never done.

Jan

Replace it in dos as darryl suggested.
Here's a bit easier way if you never worked in dos.

1. Move the file msvcp60.dll to your WINDOWS folder.

2. Click Start>Shutdown and choose Restart in MS-DOS mode.

3. At the C:\WINDOWS\> prompt, type:

MOVE MSVCP60.DLL SYSTEM

and press enter.
Type Y when asked if you want to overwrite the existing file.

4. Type either WIN or EXIT, and press Enter to get back into Windows
