Could the missing folders have the HIDDEN attribute set? You can check by
right-clicking the folder and doing PROPERTIES. Look below for attributes.

Anyone familiar with yahoo messanger?  I used to be able to attach a 
file"picture" and send to someone in the IM window but now after clicking on

"send file" while in the IM/PM window when I navigate to find the picture 
folder it does not show.  Only a few of my folders show that are normally in

that directory.  But if I type in "My Pictures" and click "open" then they 
appear, as long as I am in the right directory.

Strange.
