Sending to the spoof domain of whatever co the header shows in phishing mail lets that co know what's being passed around. I have made phone calls to various places I supposedly got an e-mail from and when I requested an addy to forward to, it always is spoof@ (whatever domain).com--such as Paypal is spoof @paypal.com. I never open that sort of stuff, I just forward it. Then delete it. So IF you are unsure about something BEFORE you consider opening it, forward to the appropriate domain. So far I get a response every time from wherever I send. I keep a list of spoof@ addys in my addy book and use those. ----- Original Message ----- From: "cristy" <poppy0206@xxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 4:57 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: New pfishing scam Hi milady, What does that do? christy ----- Original Message ----- From: " milady" <kg6ocz@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 7:38 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: New pfishing scam >I always just forward all that stuff to spoof@( whatever domain). com. > unopened. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "cristy" <poppy0206@xxxxxxx> > To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 4:30 PM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: New pfishing scam > > > I received about 6 emails this past week from PENPal at ebay or something > about my account...etc... > > christy > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Lil Cruz" <lilcruz@xxxxxxxxx> > To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2005 4:41 PM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: New pfishing scam > > >> They gotta try...
