Beg to differ. I downloaded and ran once and it's still there. I just ran it
again. I put a shortcut to it on desktop and it still works...

yeah, it's the same thing.
Microsoft will release an updated version of this tool on
the second Tuesday of each month. New versions will be made
available through this web page, Windows Update, and the
Malicious Software Removal Tool Web site on Microsoft.com.

once/month, isn't it? I'm pretty sure it is.
do you know how we access the one that gets installed
