I have that model too and love it.
I use the same steps to clean the print cartridge... does not need it often
as I print a lot I guess..haha!
Fry's now has it for $179 and I have seen it sell 'refurbished' for $149.

There is a button--small, located to the left side of button panel just left
of the fax button. labeled setup..depress that and when the menu comes up on
the flip up screen scroll with the down button below the OK button, to
TOOLS. depress THAT and Clean print cartridge shows up as 1. on top of
screen. hit ok and it should come up " printing" which is then going thru
cleaning. It prints a page and then goes back to phone off hook.
