Robin I'm gonna come at this from a different angle.
I use 2 free sites to work with the pics that I have on my webtv pages.
http://www.myimager.com
and
http://www.imagemagick.com
I prefer my imager. It has some easy tools to work with, At least I feel
they are.
The bigest problem with enlargeing a pic is the larger you make it the
worse the pic.
I'll show you 2 pics to give you an idea of what I mean
First one is pic that was scaned to a webtv unit, so it goes with out
saying that the resolution is not the best
http://community.webtv.net/MrDeamon_1/MISC/scrapbookFiles/mailedD0.jpg
the second is the same pic rewored at imagemagick

As you are using are real computer scaner the resolution should be much
better.
I think that eather of the sites above are more of what you looking for.
If you decided to give them a shot and have a problem let me know and
I'll do what I can to help.
