When older apps hang, clear out the temp folders and the temporary Internet
files folder and then try again. If you still get no joy, see if there's an
updated version available. Spybot is now up to version 1.52 and that's the
one that everyone should be running. If it turns out that it won't run on
your version of Windows, then you should seriously consider upgrading
Windows, too. lol
