Glo, thank you for your reply which gave me the courage to proceed.  Took 
longer than I thought it would and it did some strange things like having me 
reboot and then continuing to install and configure.  Finally finished.  I 
looked around a bit to see what's new.  Has anyone tried the Analyzer?  I 
ran it and it found a bunch of registry entries that needed fixing (or so 
they said) but it would only fix them once if I downloaded the tool to do it 
and then I would have to pay for it yearly to continue using it.  Sounded a 
bit fishy to me.  What say the rest of you???  Forget the Analyzer or take 
it seriously?:?

P.S.  It did proceed to uninstall the old version just like you said it 
would.  And it let me know it was doing it.
