Outlook installed in Vista Premium. Both have all the latest service
packs and updates.

5 POP accounts setup and all test properly using the "test settings"
button in account setup.
2 IMAP accounts setups and all test properly using the "test settings"
button in account setup.

With multiple messages in a single POP account to be sent (about 25, all
about 1MB in size):

Click Send/Receive. Sometimes it sends and receives and sometimes it
doesn't. When it does send it may say it is sending 7 of 7 messages
when there is actually 25 messages to be sent. Sometimes it actually
sends the 7 of 7 and sometimes it may only send some of them.

Open the Send/Receive menu and click Send All (to avoid receiving any
email) and it still receives email (or says it is receiving in the
details box). The send part works just like it did in Send/Receive above.

Sometimes I click Send/Receive or Send All and absolutely nothing
happens. Just as if I never even clicked. Nothing in the status bar to
indicate anything is happening either.

Sometimes the details box appears so I can see what is happening and
sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the Click to see details button appears
in the status bar. Sometimes it doesn't.

Can anybody shed any light on this strange behavior?
