One is 'gittin close' and the other is 'dun gone'! As regards the Restore, As long as you know everything is fine it doesn't hurt to turn it off an on, (swiping out your restore data) but it is there for a good purpose so if you wipe out your info and then really need it, bad deal. If you keep your computer updated then you will never have any "critters" loitering in there in the first place.
