Well, maybe because I'm lazy???
I have my new Dell, and it just came set up that way.
I never 'shut down' my pc before at night. Now after such and such time
frame, the monitor goes black and everything is sleeping.
I hadn't ever had my pc set up like that before, but got use to it and now
just keep it that way.
