Let me suggest that we put solar eclipse glasses, maybe a telescope with a
solar filter on it, and a PST solar-only telescope on display for people to
see. We can also display images of sunspots and solar prominences.
We should mention that solar activity is high every eleven years or so, and
that we are currently in a (very) low activity period, that the indoor display
is because there is probably nothing to see on the Sun right now.
I can bring solar eclipse glasses and binoculars with glass solar filters on
them, if you like this idea. I’ve also got some books with some solar event
images. I’m sure others do too.
