June through September is too hot. In December the Sun is low in the sky, and
may even be hidden by the surrounding buildings in Bookman’s parking lot.
I don’t think there is sufficient compensation for standing in direct sunlight
for three hours. Just say no.

the telescope equipment outside. Canopies do not do the trick since the

there is a chance there will be no sunspots or flares. Did Bookmans request
solar scopes? If so, they should at least provide compensation with coupons.
If they didn't request solar scopes, we should rethink having outside scopes
in risky conditions.
