You mean it’s automatic? You can time the toast/grill functions?
Even so we need a toaster because we don’t have the bench space to leave the
new thing out all the time. (We’re still scratching our heads about where we’ll
store it!)

not. Uneven toasting appears to be ubiquitous between brands, and is a
bugbear of mine given our current toaster, a Breville that wasn’t cheap,
only toasts on one side. (I had a much cheaper Breville years ago that was
great, but the reviews also say that model has been updated and the updated
version toasts unevenly.) Even toasting, according to the reviews, seems to
be an unattainable holy grail.
Does anyone have a toaster they are really happy with?
