Reading the product reviews is depressing. It doesn’t matter how much or how
little you pay, it seems you get those who are happy, and many more who are
not. Uneven toasting appears to be ubiquitous between brands, and is a
bugbear of mine given our current toaster, a Breville that wasn’t cheap, only
toasts on one side. (I had a much cheaper Breville years ago that was great,
but the reviews also say that model has been updated and the updated version
toasts unevenly.) Even toasting, according to the reviews, seems to be an
unattainable holy grail.
Does anyone have a toaster they are really happy with?
