Hal, Happy Birthday and Feliz Cumpleanos. albeit belated. We have all come a
long way since we joined the list over 20 years ago.🤔😱😜🤣
Never heard of sugar on a baked spud. Has to be gobs of butter for me and
often sour cream or creme fraiche and salsa
Kelly, my fave way with sweet potatoes is to mash with loads of butter and S&P
freshly ground and chipotles in adobo added along with chopped fresh coriander
...cilantro to you. Surprisingly Super Turre stocks the chipotles in adobo
...my Aladdin’s cave catering to the Brits. I call them the Turre mafia as
when Covid got us their prices shot up and I nicknamed our Turre village
Inglaturre as so many Brits here.
And we were not permitted out the village so they had a captive audience.
Should haves stopped all flights from India weeks ago🤔😩😱
Stay safe all..UK now changed relaxation of restrictions till 19:July due the
Indian Delta variant. Am booked to go back 24 July but flights being cancelled
so no idea if and when I get back.
Who would have thought they world come to this nightmare.
Julia 🤔😩😱

Lol, yeah, I just can’t do sweet sweet potatoes.
I pretty much only eat them in a savory preparation.

Tonight for dinner in doing a reverse seared fillet steak, and a pretty big
baked sweet potato.
I eat my baked sweet taters like I do regular baked potato, loaded with
butter and sour cream, with salt and pepper added….
Yum!!

Here in Spain I have not a clue what spuds I am buying as no name is put
to them. It is all a bit of hit or miss. In Mercadona, biggest
supermarket chain and owner one of Spain’s richest men....they do sell
spuds that have been washed and clean. Then I can go to Super Turre in my
village and they are all dirty. The ones cleaned are already sprouting.
Back in the UK for baking I get the Maris Pipers and when in season the
Jersey Royals...yum yum.
Back in my US Florida days it was the Idaho for baking but not seen
anything similar here.
Oh, now I am getting hungry for a baked spud with lashings of butter and
sour cream and some fresh salsa. Might have to see what I have in the
fridge🤔😜🤣
