Anything you can send along will be terrific. Thanks so much. I've just
had a look at a Wikipedia article on Richie Valens, and that pretty much
convinced me that Richie wouldn't have had very much time to make many
recordings other than the ones for which he is so famous. I remember being
very fond of the song Donna, and I was very glad to get it from Audioldies.
The recordings that you have may not sound terribly authentic, but it will
be a way for Goin' Like Sixty to pay tribute to "the day the music died."

Hi Devon,
I don't have "Tribute to Buddy Holly" by the Guess Who. Also, anything by
Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper would have been released prior to 1960.
As for Buddy Holly, Norman Petty was unearthing recordings late into the
60's and was allowing drummers and guitarists to add to the recordings he
was finding, making them not really sound all that authentic in the opinion
of many.
As I mentioned earlier, I'll gladly send you the tracks I have which would
have come out in roughly 1969.
