Hi Devon,
I don’t have “Tribute to Buddy Holly” by the Guess Who. Also, anything by
Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper would have been released prior to 1960. As
for Buddy Holly, Norman Petty was unearthing recordings late into the 60’s and
was allowing drummers and guitarists to add to the recordings he was finding,
making them not really sound all that authentic in the opinion of many.
As I mentioned earlier, I’ll gladly send you the tracks I have which would have
come out in roughly 1969.
