Devon, well put. I’ve got the same concerns.

Hi, Devon,

If the cancer is caught early enough, perhaps they can save Karen’s life
through surgery or maybe chemo. I understand chemo isn’t as bad as it used to
be.

Oh, My, Vickie! I do hope that someone can convince Karen to change her mind
with regard to both surgery and chemo. It sounds like a fairly fast-growing
tumour. Her chances of survival will be a lot less if she doesn’t allow them
to do surgery and/or chemo. I will pray that God will send someone who can
encourage her to think not only of herself, but also Tony and everyone else who
loves her. Devon.

As the subject line says, Tony’s girl friend Karen Aumick needs all of our
prayers. After going through a biopsy last week, they called her with the news
this morning that she has carcinoid lung cancer. Since her Pet test back in
May, the tumor has grown from 3 centimeters to 6. She is being referred to an
oncologist. Hopefully she can be seen earlier than three months, which is the
length of time she was seen by the lung doctor. So, start the prayer chains
for her ASAP. This is the first I heard of it, myself. If the Lord takes her,
I don’t know what Tony will do. She says if the treatment involves chemo,
she’s not taking it. If it involves surgery, she’s not doing that either. So
it’s totally in God’s hands. So, I’ll be praying that she is offered a
treatment that won’t involve either of those things, so she’ll accept it. Take
care.

May God bless you now, and evermore!
