I forgot that my sister Irene also had that surgery done in the late 1990's.
It's not as bad as it used to be because from what I've been told, they just
make small incisions instead of cutting you open with a knife like they did
a long time ago. I had to have my appendix removed when I was a little girl
and it was awful. They did it the old-fashion way--under the knife.
