I think there are three potions
DBMS_SESSION
DBMS_SUPPORT
DBMS_MONITOR

DBMS_SESSION , few optoins
DBMS_SUPPORT, not documented
DBMS_MONITOR, the winner!!

So I think the winner is DBMS_MONITOR, unless another opinion.
