A 10079 trace may be useful
First set 10046 to create the trace file, then 10079, with level 1 for
network ops.

I haven't tried this in a couple years, but when I did, the 10046 event was
necessary to create the tracefile.

Ok, another question:
Is it BEQUEATH or IPC?
If it's IPC, it still goes through the listener, and at least some of
the. SQL*Net settings/parameters still apply... (I think...)
I think it's at least worth taking a closer look...
