I've ever had a project to join current 10g RAC of solaris x64 (physical
server) from a new hardware which are not support the old OS version
(solaris 10). container just work perfectly to match it with older RAC
nodes. the use of OVM in this case will not efficient.
docker or LXC will likely also useful for i.e. that similar case.
