I'm also using IE for a 11gr2 download for solaris 64bit. Getting the
404 error. Will try your methods, and also firefox if it doesn't work.
Have SR open also referencing the issue.

This is identified by oracle and this problem occurs in Firefox 3.6
version. If you use IE this will not occur.

I have had this issue. I tried Firefox and Google Chrome. I had to try
about 5 times till it finally worked. Not sure why it is throwing a 404
error.

I just found out that when downloading from download.oracle.com, that
sometimes you get "file not found" when in fact the file is there.

I copied the url for the file (the 10.2.0.5 agent) in this case and kept
pasting it into the URL until it decided to finally give me the file
instead of giving me the "We're sorry, the page you requested was not
found".

I discovered this error after trying to download a different file that I
"knew" was there and getting the above error. So I now I'm wondering if
they are having some kind of network problem, or if it gives you that
error when the download server is busy.

Anyone else noticed this behavior?

Here's the URL that intermittently gave me the error:

http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oem/10205/Windows_X64_Grid_Control_age
nt_download_10_2_0_5_0.zip
