Hi All, Just in case you are not aware of the following: The RMAN CONVERT command converts data files and tablespaces between platforms, even different endians. This allows TTS to move data between supported platforms. http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/rman-enhancements-10g.php#cross_platform_tablespace_conversion Only a full database conversion is not possible between endians. That doesn't stop a piece-by-piece move though. Thanks to Tim Hall for pointing it out. We have done TTS migrations from HP-UX to Linux on x86/x86-64 with no issues. Again, according to the Wiki page - (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness), Linux on x86/x86-64 is little endian versus HP-UX which is big endian. Linux is Little endian and Solaris is big endian. I thought they would not be compatible for TTS.
