Somehow the formatting got a bit messy...
 
SQL> show parameter user_dump
NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
user_dump_dest                       string      
/app/oracle/admin/fusepw03/udump

I've got the following paramter set in the database

SQL> show parameter user_dump_NAME TYPE =
VALUE------------------------------------ ----------- -----------------=
-------------user_dump_dest string /app/oracle/a=
dmin/fusepw03/udump But it's writing the trace files to ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/l=
og Any ideas as to why this is the case. TIA BTW Am also using a spfile. =
