Hi Dennis, But migration is simple and will take 1-2 hrs.(for a 60 Gig DB). For exp/imp, there is lot of work to be done. We are prefering migrations from 7.x onwards. I'd make quite sure that all patchsets have been applied to the 8174 db regarding exp, so that he does not end up with an import log full of ORA-00907s.
