Totally helpful.
Much appreciated.

Stu,
The Zeiss calibration tool for the CIRRUS is not going to actually
calibrate the unit. It allows for the end-user to check to see if certain
systems are functioning within spec. If out of spec it would be necessary
to have an engineer out with all of their tools and training to actually
calibrate the unit within spec.
Hope that helps.

Hi Zach,
Yes, good distinction. My inquiry was aimed more at Cirrus and OptoVue
users, as I too use mostly a Spectralis OCT for testing. Our contract
covering maintenance. I as well unaware if I could even calibrate it or
not. I’ve known that Zeiss devices we delivered with a calibration unit,
etc.

Hi Stu,
Since I work for a larger company they renew the warranties on our
Spectralis machines every year. We have a tech from Heidelberg come out and
do it once per year since it’s covered, and if anything ever happens while
it’s being calibrated they take care of it.
Cheers,
Zach

TGIF!!
Could those of you who do, or don't calibrate your OCT devices, let me
know the frequency of said procedure? On line, or off line.
Thanks.
