Hi Zach,

Yes, good distinction.  My inquiry was aimed more at Cirrus and OptoVue users, 
as I too use mostly a Spectralis OCT for testing. Our contract covering 
maintenance.  I as well unaware if I could even calibrate it or not.  I’ve 
known that Zeiss devices we delivered with a calibration unit, etc.

Hi Stu,

 

Since I work for a larger company they renew the warranties on our Spectralis 
machines every year. We have a tech from Heidelberg come out and do it once per 
year since it’s covered, and if anything ever happens while it’s being 
calibrated they take care of it.
