Yes, and why would you need, want a keyboard on an Optacon?

Hello Chuck and list,
As a long-term Mac user and never a Windows user, the question of Windows-type
commands has no relevance to me.
Cheers,
Anne

Hello Charles and list,
I haven't noticed any response to this one.

So then, do people prefer to have the Windows-like keyboard commands
and other simularly inferred commands done on a perkins keyboard, or
do people prefer braille-feeling commands on their perkins keyboards,
and standard PC Windows commands work as they do on their qwerty
keyboards? Do people become confused between the two? Both can work
functionally, but what do people prefer? Do people become confused
because they have one set of commands using their PC and another set
of commands using their perkins keyboard on their braille device?
In my opinion, two different sets of commands shouldn't be a problem
to most users. I personally use a VarioUltra Braille display, which
both can act as a Braille display when connected to a computer, a
tablet or a smartphone, and also has internal software with word
processor and so forth. The command set used in the internal software
can differ quite a lot from the command set used by the device I
decide to connect my VarioUltra to.
I would say that the best choice is to follow what has become much of
a "standard" on units with Braille keyboard, for instance the dots 123
to go to the beginning, and dots 456 to go to the end. Apple are using
the same command set in their devices, both running iOS and OS X.
Google has chosen another "un-standardized" approach in their TalkBack
app, which they have been criticised for.
So, go for the standards, I'd say.
