Fran, About the microwave display, it depends on what is meant by display. When I used the optacon to mark the buttons on the flat panel display of my microwave, I just used a regular optacon lens although I forgot which mode it was in; probably normal mode. I also don't think I used the optacon two for it. If the word "display" means a display showing what the current function is, then that would be a different story and I suspect that a calculator lens would be necessary to read that; but I am just guessing.
