Nope, David, I am not using any flavor of Linux and I saw those signs as well. I think that was the first message in which I saw them as spaces, I've seen messages from the Groupwise mail client where the end-of-line was indicated by an =20 sequence. His message wondering what caused that was absent any of that trash, but both messages were encoded with PMMail2000 as 8 bit so I'm clueless as to the actual cause.
