Very good, Craig. So, acquiring these "live streams" from Hulu costs
you FIVE TIMES as much as acquiring the on demand content from Hulu.
And your point is?
My point is that as ALWAYS happens, it takes a huge effort to get the obvious
across to you, Craig. For some odd reason, you could not grasp this 5X premium
people need to pay, to get live content over Hulu.
Only 39% of TV was consumed live, and that was way back in 2015.
Wrong.
Again! Case in point! I told you, Craig, this game you play is useless. I have
been saving the links, because this is the way you always operate.

"The study is part of GfK MRI's 'The Future of TV' series, which found the
viewers still like old-fashioned TV viewing. The most popular way to watch TV
remains live when first broadcast, and watching live accounts for 39% of time
spent with TV content."
Craig apparently got stuck on the first part of the last sentence, and forgot
to finish reading. Back in mid-2015, live viewing accounted for only 39% of TV
consumption, exactly as I stated. That's the number they provide. They claim,
with no quantitative justification, that live viewing is the most popular "when
first broadcast," but the numbers they do give tell the true story. People
prefer on demand, in increasing amounts. At the beginning of 2015, it appeared
that 47% of TV content was consumed live. Then it apparently dropped. It's
probably dropped even more since then.
Most people learn, over time, Craig. When I first connected my PC to the TV
system, I still used the PVR to record shows that did not conflict, and used
streaming only for those shows that has schedule conflicts with the ones I was
recording. Well, that was silly. I soon learned to use the PC for all shows,
especially because the networks I watch did not introduce long delays before
streaming the shows. And then since then, I stopped caring even if there's an
8-day delay.
