This is not a bad thing Bert, just a reflection of realities.Free OTA TV does have a well defined audience - but it is YOU who are the anomaly in the FOTA demographics.
It's not so much what the neighbors think, but what they watch. John Shutt nailed it.
What is more interesting is how sub channels are being used to serve these minority audiences - this used to be the audience served by the LPTV stations.Not here.
The article was about the Northern Mexico suburbs (aka Southern California), not Washington D.C.
The fact that this is not happening around DC should tell you something about the economics of our Nation's capital. Other than inside the District, average incomes are quite high and Cable/DBS penetration even in the blighted areas is quite high (>75%).
