I don't know the ins and outs of this announcement, but it may just be related to something we've been discussing elsewhere. Over neutral Internet broadband service, there should be no need for any "third party" to offer this sort of service. Following a strategic review of its business activities, SeeSaw's parent company Arqiva has announced it is no longer able to support the service. An Arqiva spokesman told the DTG: "SeeSaw is an excellent service and has provided invaluable insight into the online TV market in the UK. But it no longer fits with the strategic direction in which we are taking Arqiva and requires considerable investment to succeed in an increasingly competitive market. We have tried to find an investment partner, however this has not proved possible." An announcement on the SeeSaw.com blog reads: "As it will soon be 'goodbye' from SeeSaw, we'd like to take this opportunity to say a big 'thanks' for all your support, custom and loyalty over the last 16 months. We're a small team but we hope we've made a big difference and that you've had fun watching TV with us."
