You mean 1-2years after the first network programs were shown in color?
Funny that you claim color was 10 years old in 1974, considering that the
FCC didn't approve color until mid 1956.

ISTR that by 1969 or so, half the sets sold were color.  13 years after
color was adopted, 7 years after the first regular network color broadcasts.
