Not really. It all depends on what profit margin the company can get
away with.
Shell has competition. If they charge too much, people have an easy time
just driving to the next gas station.
Where is the competition for ESPN?
The dynamic is, Disney should ask for higher and higher compensation,
until a competitor steps in and says they can do it for less.
