Please book me in for both your latest developments demo, as well as the Technicolor

There is no "Philips as well as Technicolor", we act as one project team.
I know of no definitive plans but it seems likely that you will find us at a Technicolor booth. When the plans are known I will connect you to Guy or Frederic for making an appointment. It would be good of you to remind me, it might slip my mind.

Of course for 4K or 8K there is no real legacy installed base

"Legacy" means everything that is pre-HDR, and that includes all 2k receivers too. It would be silly to down-convert spatially and then find that the dynamic range doesn't match.
Also consider that there is no such thing as "an HDR receiver", 4k or otherwise. There will be anything from say 400 to 4000 nits peak, all claiming to be "HDR Ready". I would rank those also more or less under "legacy". Rome wasn't built in one day, and high brightness is expensive.

Best,
