One of those very stupid people the government protected was Ayn Rand who in the end took both Social Security and Medicare benefits under the name Ann O'Connor, the ultimate hypocrite. She also modeled John Galt on a serial killer who butchered and dismembered a 12 year old girl, William Edward Hickman. And the Republicans who idolize her do so by carefully choosing those parts of her philosophy they like while ignoring the rest. Like she advocated for the repeal of all laws against homosexuality and she was a great proponent of abortion as evidenced by the Ayn Rand Center for Human Rights and their advocacy of same. http://www.aynrand.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=5105 Bob Miller On Thu, Jun 2, 2011 at 1:08 PM, Dale Kelly <dalekelly@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> it all comes down to personal responsibility; I am sick and tired of >> the politicians trying to protect stupid people, at the expense of >> the majorities who use their brains. > > Just the reverse: The politicos are attempting to protect the majority from > those "stupid" people. > > Dale > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: opendtv-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:opendtv-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On > Behalf Of Craig Birkmaier > Sent: Wednesday, June 01, 2011 5:33 AM > To: opendtv@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [opendtv] Re: Collusion > > At 3:45 PM -0500 5/31/11, Manfredi, Albert E wrote: >>While I'm driving? > > It happens... > > But, you can also be in a parking lot or your driveway, or a > passenger can use the display. > > I too am very concerned about distracted driving; and the fact that > most police cruisers have notebook computers mounted so that the > officer can operate them while driving... > > it all comes down to personal responsibility; I am sick and tired of > the politicians trying to protect stupid people, at the expense of > the majorities who use their brains. > > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: > > - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at > FreeLists.org > > - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word > unsubscribe in the subject line. > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
