If you aren't happy with the existing choices, let me know.  I could modify
my analog shutoff countdown timer (more than 1000 downloads so far) to do
this, and even extend it's life into the "February 18th" world that is
approaching.  It would carry a commercial message, but one only applicable
to broadcasters and cable operators.

You were probably seeing a multi display processor.

Miranda's version can create an analog clock from a digital timecode input.
