Here's my response from snack land (Carrie Durling) about the popcorn, what
do you think? Can we do donation receipt and sign?:
Hi Michelle. Ok so here's the thing. We are able to do this for you guys.
However, To make 3 garbage bags full of pop corn would take a decent chunk
of time. Im talking several hours of an employee who is paid to do it. So
that costs us money plus shifting things so that it is even do-able. Then
there is the cost of the product it's self. For all of these reasons to
give a discount would be difficult. We looked at the numbers and each bag
of popcorn would hold about 10 bags of our largest bags that we sell for
3.50 each. So the cost for 3 garbage bags full would be $105. I actually
suggest this: let us donate the popcorn. We would ask for a receipt of the
above amount and also a sign at the popcorn station stating that the
popcorn was donated by Snakland. Let me know what you think!
