This may have been talked about before, but as I was up late planning my day
tomorrow using a pretty cool app called "popboardz", I hit upon this. Yes, it's
pure genius - you may all thank me later:
1. Get a copy of my vocab list for a class.
2. Make slides with pictures of the vocab I deem necessary pertaining to that
list.
3. Prep questions NOT about the vocab but about the actual pictures I use to
define the vocab (I think this idea came on as I was realizing how
uninteresting my questions were related to the vocab and how someone else had
sent an email with very interesting pictures).
Boring and not engaging example (using a Bloom's style questioning):
ENTRENAR - repitan: entrenar!
¿Te gusta entrenar? ¿Dónde entrenas? ¿Con quién entrenas? ¿Qué haces cuando
entrenas? ¿Entrenar as

I will probably go from transition to question with modeling in the center of
the circle in many cases for the more difficult questions until the majority of
the class understands. As these questions are fleshed out, I'll provide
sentence frames for their answers, then probably use a bingo grid and have
students run around and talk to one another.
