Many birders on the c coast are in the habit of pulling over on the west side
of 101 at the stables north of 101 to check the lower pasture for geese etc.
Note that the former nice gravel pullout space by the pasture gate is now a
sheer six-inch drop off the edge of the new pavement. Quite the nasty surprise.
