Today we poked our nose in on Smithville Rd, a two mile dead-end spur off
Gopher Valley Rd, N of Sheridan. It's about 3.5 mi N of the Dairy Queen on
Hwy 18, E of Sheridan.
We found singing RED-EYED VIREOS in a mixed stand of alders and
second-growth D. fir. This is in the foothills of the Coast Range.
