Mixed in with other sparrows were 2 White-throated Sparrows near the
first picnic table at Wood River Wetlands, at the NE part of Agency
Lake, north end of Upper Klamath Lake, Klamath County, today. One, a
beautiful adult and the other an immature with somewhat buffy broad
supercillium. That location near the picnic table is the same location
Chuck Gates reported a Clay-colored Sparrow two days ago. No sign of
that bird.
While conducting a survey at The Nature Conservancy's Four-mile
parcel, SW of Fort Klamath, Klamath County, David Hewitt and I had the
great pleasure of viewing 3 LONG-EARED OWLS.
