The five Bluebirds the North team saw on this year's
CBC were at a small athletic field below the reservoirs.
They had just come out of the residences across the
street. While I associate Bluebirds out of their ordinary
places with extensive snowfall, something else might
be going on. I've seen them inside the city limits of Corvallis
several times in Spring, Summer and fall. Apparently they
are nesting at Wilson Motors, one place I saw them.

Paul Reed had a Western Bluebird land in a tree in his front yard in
the 300 block of NE 11st Street in Newport this morning. Paul said
that was a first for there. I don't recall of any being found in a
Newport residential area before.
